Thousands of users are reporting crashes and issues with the social networking site Twitter.
Many on social media said they were having trouble, with one saying, “Twitter just went down…”
Multiple user screenshot error messages saying “something went wrong, try reloading”.
The issues seem to affect the website rather than the app, according to user reports.
Downdetector confirms that 86% of reports relate to the website.
“Replies to tweets will not load #TwitterDown,” one said.
Another added: “Twitter on desktop websites.
The technical issues come less than a week after another Twitter outage.

Downdetector received over 12,000 reports of problems accessing the social media platform in the UK alone on 11 February.
Almost half of them were related to problems encountered on the mobile application.
Some people were disconnected from the site and unable to return while others had issues with their schedule.
Less than an hour later, the platform’s support team announced that they had fixed a “technical bug”.
